Twenty years ago, my BFF from college, Ashley Backer and I created Two Chicks and Company. Initially, we only offered home jewelry parties and fundraisers across Kentucky (my home state) and Tennessee (Ashley’s home state). The business grew and in 2003 we opened our first bricks and mortar store at 124 Southland Drive in Lexington.
By popular demand, Two Chicks expanded in 2006, opening the Louisville store in Middletown. Barbara Sparrow, Karen Mayes and Paula Jackson joined Two Chicks to make this happen. I was so thrilled for Two Chicks to have a presence in the Louisville Community.
Two Chicks and Company was among the first to bring our unique shopping experience to the area. Others have come along, but customers say Two Chicks stands above the rest.
